Life of A Migrant - The Kurdish Jungle
Nima Yaghmaei from We2 was given the opportunity to travel to northern France’s migrant camp for refugees and migrants trying to cross over to the UK. Where, 90% of those living in the camp were Kurdish Iraqis and not Syrians. Nima’s fluency in Farsi allowed him to communicate with many of them. The complexities of the situation are vast, whether you are in favour or against their goals, that is up to you to educate yourself and decide. However, there is no doubt that the stories within these camps across Europe and the world, are some of the most fascinating out there. We want to share it with you. The focus was on the day to day life of the residence, and the stories they had stored on their cellphones. Click the pictures to know the stories behind the pictures.
